1. Who handles enquiries

I am Dhairya Patel. I run VertexLineup Studio in Pincher Creek, Alberta. I provide design, content and business support. Contact me at hello@vertexlineup.com or (437) 557-2523.

I am responsible for privacy questions and requests at the studio. This notice describes the current website and enquiry email path. Alberta's Personal Information Protection Act applies to personal information handled within Alberta. Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act applies to commercial handling of personal information across provincial or national borders.

2. Information you send

The enquiry form asks for your name, email address, service interests and project description. Business name and phone number are optional. Prepare email draft creates a message in this page. It does not send your details to an enquiry service.

Choose Open email draft to transfer the message to your email app. Check the details and send it there. Your email provider handles that delivery. Preparing or opening a draft does not confirm that I have received it. You can also email me directly.

I use the information you send to reply, discuss your project and prepare agreed project records. The enquiry checkbox gives permission to respond to that enquiry. It does not subscribe you to marketing emails.

3. Settings stored in your browser

The site stores your paper or dark mode preference, optional analytics choice and selected public service categories in your browser's local storage. The shortlist stores category names only. My form code does not store your name, email address, phone number or project description there. Clear the shortlist through its Clear control, or clear these settings through your browser controls.

Selected categories and preset package text can appear in enquiry-link query parameters. The offline feature caches the recovery page and two font files. It does not cache enquiries, API replies or ordinary website pages.

The website self-check uses your answers to calculate a score. It does not inspect your live website, and it does not ask for an email address.

4. Optional analytics

No optional analytics are enabled in this release. Automatic Cloudflare Web Analytics is disabled, and no Google Analytics account is configured. Hosting and security requests still reach Cloudflare as described below.

The Privacy preferences control in the footer explains the current settings. Navigation, articles and the enquiry form do not require analytics. If I add optional tracking later, I will update this notice and provide the choices required before it runs.

5. External requests and service providers

Cloudflare Pages hosts this website. Website requests can include technical details such as your IP address and the requested page.

Cloudflare Email Routing is configured to forward email sent to hello@vertexlineup.com to my Google Gmail inbox. These services handle message content and delivery details for forwarding and email handling. Preparing a draft on this website does not send that email.

The studio's Manrope and Instrument Serif font files are served with this site. The decorative liquid-metal button scene also uses a local font file. These font requests do not contact Google Fonts.

External links open services with their own privacy practices. Notion, Resend, newsletter delivery and payment processing are not connected to this public enquiry path. Direct form submission is disabled in this release; the public form prepares an email draft.

Cloudflare and Google may handle information outside Canada, including in the United States. Cloudflare's notice also identifies storage in the European Economic Area. Google describes processing on servers around the world. Their notices describe their international operations: Cloudflare privacy policy and Google privacy policy. These are provider disclosures; this website does not confirm a specific storage country for an individual message. Information processed abroad may be subject to that country's laws and lawful access by its authorities.

Contact me, Dhairya Patel, at hello@vertexlineup.com to request written information about the studio's use of providers outside Canada, or to ask about their handling of your enquiry.

6. Retention and deletion

My retention policy is to keep personal information only while reasonably needed for an enquiry, an agreed project or a legal requirement. Project agreements, invoices and dispute records can need a longer period than an unsuccessful enquiry. Information no longer needed must be deleted or made non-identifying within a reasonable period.

The draft builder does not set a deletion schedule for my inbox or the providers' systems. Browser settings remain until you clear them. You can request a review of the records held for your enquiry or project. I will explain any record that must be retained and why. A deletion request cannot remove records that the law requires me to keep.

7. Access, correction and consent

Email hello@vertexlineup.com to request access to information about you, ask for a correction or deletion, or withdraw permission for a use of your information. Identify the enquiry or project so I can locate the records. I may ask for enough information to verify that the request concerns you.

I will respond within the time required by the applicable privacy law. An Alberta PIPA access request normally has a 45-calendar-day response period. A PIPEDA access request normally has a 30-day response period. I will explain any lawful extension, access restriction or retention requirement. Withdrawing permission for project communication can prevent me from continuing that work; I will explain the effect before proceeding.

Do not send passwords, payment-card details, identity documents or sensitive client records through this enquiry form. If a project requires personal or confidential records, the signed scope must identify an appropriate transfer method and any service providers before those records are shared.

8. Privacy concerns

Send a privacy concern to me at hello@vertexlineup.com. If the concern remains unresolved, follow the complaint process at the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner of Alberta. For matters governed by PIPEDA, contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

9. Updates

I update this notice when the site's data handling changes. The date above identifies this version.
